Returns & Refunds

All items are sold as-is. No warranties or guarantees unless specifically stated.

Many items come from retail returns, overstock, or liquidation inventory, and may include:

  • Cosmetic wear
  • Damaged packaging
  • Missing parts

Returns

We do not accept returns unless:

  • The item was materially misrepresented
  • You received the wrong item

If your situation meets one of the above, you must submit a claim within 7 days of delivery.

To start a claim:

  • Email returns@thesurplusdepot.com
  • Include your order number (or auction name and lot number)
  • Provide photos and a brief description of the issue

Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

If approved, we will provide return instructions.

Damages and Issues

Inspect your order upon receipt.

Contact us immediately if:

  • The item is not as described
  • The item arrives damaged beyond what was disclosed
  • You receive the wrong item

We will review and determine resolution, which may include a refund or replacement at our discretion.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Items with disclosed condition issues
  • Gift cards

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, in accordance with applicable law. Items must be unused and in original condition.

Refunds

If a claim is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing typically takes up to 10 business days after approval
